Welcome to Faith Formation
Classes for the 2023-2024 academic year have started. We are still accepting registrations.
The St. Timothy Faith Formation program encourages, supports, and complements the powerful and awesome role that parents have in passing on faith to their children. In addition to in-person classes held at the Parish, our Faith Formation program will provide materials and activities that will engage family members of all ages. This will include age-appropriate faith lessons, opportunities for prayer and service, and faith stories shared by family and enriched by stories from the Bible.
Attendance at weekly Mass is the way we share our faith as a Parish Family. Our Family Mass at 9:30am Sunday shares the Good News of our faith in a special way with the children of our parish. This Mass is followed by light refreshments and fellowship in the Parish Hall. We invite you to join us!
The past few years have been difficult. If your child has missed attending grade one, grade nine or any grade(s) we welcome you and will help you get started in their current grade.
We encourage every family to participate in Faith Formation. If anyone is experiencing financial difficulty, please contact us about waiving the fee.

Blue Bag Pick Up
Classes have started! Did you miss an opportunity to pick up your family's Blue Bag? Please come by the Parish Office during regular office hours, Monday-Friday, 9:30-4:00, or Sunday after Mass to collect your bag.

Grades 9 & 10, Confirmation Preparation
Preparing students for Confirmation is a serious and joyful responsibility for parishes. This year St Timothy Parish, along with their families and sponsors, looks forward to walking with these young people as they receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. This Sacrament confirms the promises their parents made at Baptism and strengthens them for their spiritual journey throughout the rest of their life.
The Archdiocese of Boston has recently reviewed with parishes the requirements for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. Students in the Archdiocese may be confirmed in the spring of ninth grade through the fall of eleventh grade. Following the guidance of the Archdiocese, St Timothy Parish has decided to offer the Sacrament of Confirmation to our ninth and tenth grade students this year. Ninth and tenth grade students will attend classes to prepare for Confirmation next Spring.

We received a letter from the Archdiocese with our Confirmation Date!!
Sunday, March 10, 2024There will be two Confirmation ceremonies on Confirmation Day, 1 pm and 3 pm. After the first of the year families will be able to choose which ceremoney they prefer.
Classes
Combined grade 9 and 10 classes will be held on Sundays at 12noon-1pm and 5pm-6pm. During registration students chose a specific class time, but may attend another class time if they have a conflict on a certain day. Please email [email protected] if the student is making any change.

Rite of Commitment Mass
Sunday, December 3rd, 11amThis Parish Mass is for all Confirmation students, families, and sponsors. During this Mass the students will affirm their intention to go forward as Confirmation Candidates with their preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation and receive blessings and support from their parish family.
Responsibilities of Confirmation Candidates in addition to attending class.
