We will begin Evening Prayer at 7pm - a short prayerful and reflective way to end the week. - and be finished about 7:30pm.

You can sign up for one Friday or all of them! Laudato Si: On Care for Our Common Home An encyclical written by Pope Francis, helping us connect with all creation as a beautiful gift of God that we must preserve.
Take some time this Lent to read and reflect on the powerful insights that Pope Fancis offers us in this encyclical. Over the 5 weeks of Lent, we will form small faith-sharing groups of parishioners who will read and discuss one chapter per week of Pope Francis' letter. Meetings will take place on Zoom.
What is a Faith Sharing Groups? A faith sharing group is simply a gathering of individuals who are willing andeager to share their thoughts about their faith, usually focused on a certain topic, in an effort to grow in their faith. One faith sharing group is ready-made: your own famiy unit! For Lent this year, we will focus on our deep connection with nature and the ways God shares his love with us through nature. To do so, we will be doing a six-week study of the Pope’s encyclical on the environment, “Laudato Si”, Or “On Care for our Common Home.”
One chapter of the book will be discussed each week. It is best to read the chapter ahead of your group meeting!

Activities and reflections will be provided to help you and your family enter more deeply into this reflection on God’s creation and our responsibility to care for it.
We invite you to participate in one of the following group sessions on Zoom:
Thursday mornings, 10:00am-11:30am (Feb. 18, 25; March 11, 18, 25)
Tuesday evenings from 7pm-8:30pm (Feb. 16, 23; March 2,9,16,23)
Additional group times can be added if people are interested in doing so! Anyone interested in Saturday morning? or another evening of the week?

Participants will need a copy of the encyclical. We have some copies available at Church for $10 each. You can also buy your own copy online, from your favorite book source, if you would like to read the electronic version. Cardinal Sean O'Malley will host a week-long online retreat, similar to what he did last year, and last year's offering was quite good! The retreat will be aired on TV and online via Catholic TV - but details still need to be solidified. So check back here for more information!
