Our 50th Anniversary celebration had a picture-perfect kick off with our annual parish picnic on Sunday, September 16th. Almost 600 people attended the picnic and a good time was had by all! There were carnival rides for the kids (tea cups, merry-go-round; Ferris wheel); a giant inflatable obstacle course for the brave and hearty, young and old alike; football toss and soccer kick; hoola-hoop contests and sack races; caricature drawings, face-painting, balloon animal making; and of course the DUNK TANK!
Thanks to Joshua Paul King Photography, we have a gallery of photos that you can view to see how much fun we all had. For a sampling of these pictures, click on the photo album entitled "Parish Picnic 2012" in the left hand panel of this page. You can view the entire collection of over 200 picutres by visiting this website: http://event.joshuapaulking.com/50thkickoff.
Thanks to Matt Fearnley, we also have a wonderful video remembrance that captures the spirit of the day.
Thank you to all of the organizers and volunteers who helped make this event such a success!
