One of the projects currently underway at St. Anne’s is the expansion of this library. The plan is to double the size of the library, allowing for more shelves of books. Also, more students will be able to take advantage of the space at any given time. This is a very exciting time for St. Anne’s Parish!
In order to build, the Parish needed to arrange to have a large Nim tree removed from the premises. This required hiring laborers who agreed to remove the tree, roots and all, by hand, for a small fee. Provided here are pictures of the entire process of removing the tree. The amount of time and effort involved was great! And the existing Kids Club did not escape unscathed. The tree landed on part of the roof of the Kids Club, which will require further repair.
